I’m Edward, and I’ve loved colors for as long as I can remember. From the flashing lights on fire trucks in my childhood to discovering “treasures” in my pre-teen years, my passion evolved into oil painting during college. A hike in the Black Mountains of Arizona near Oatman led me to stumble upon a rough piece of low-quality fire agate—a turning point that made the idea of “treasure” feel within reach, though processing it was still years away. Eventually, I invested time and money into learning how to cut cabochons, starting with the mesmerizing Australian opal, each one as unique as a snowflake. Before long, I was drawn back to a stone found closer to home: fire agate.

All of our stones are completely natural. We never carry doublets, triplets, or synthetic opals of any kind, and aside from shaping, our stones remain just as they were when unearthed. Our fire agates are only carved and polished, never filled or treated.

Every piece is hand-cut, measured, and weighed by us (unless otherwise noted), and while accuracy matters, please allow for slight variations. All images are taken under artificial light, as opals and fire agates are notoriously difficult to photograph. To better capture their beauty, photos are zoomed in, so be sure to check the listed size carefully. Rough, unfinished material may appear cloudy or dull when dry, so it’s often photographed wet to reveal its colors.
