This group of ten fire agates from Mexico was not cut or polished by us but came from a larger acquisition we won’t be using in our jewelry. They’re a decent example of fire agates, with one or two showing flashes of purple or blue, most displaying golden tones, and some with hints of green. We passed on this lot because a few have cracks, some are too small for our needs, and others have contours that don’t suit the style of jewelry we make. Still, they have plenty of potential for custom work or wire wrapping, and would make a great addition to a collection.
